Sandra Lee Admits She Cried On Plane After Leaving Westchester County Property

Sandra Lee became emotional on the plane ride to California after she vacated “Lily Pond,” the Westchester County, New York, house that she used to share with Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

The 54-year-old, who has been sharing updates on how she's been doing since she left her home, took to Instagram on Tuesday to reveal that she is in Miami. Lee also gave details on how she didn’t hold back her emotions during the plane ride.

“I am in Malibu -watched 'little women' on the flight -decided I am Jo! Although Jo would have never cried all the way home.. I think I have just been stuffing it for so long that I am done. It’s all been too much-the last 6 years have just been too much," Lee captioned her selfie.

The celebrity chef prayed that 2021 will be better for all. Lee also revealed that she got tested for COVID-19 once she arrived in Los Angeles.

Lee also shared that she was already in “bath and bed with some Campbell’s chicken noodle soup and saltines. Ultimate comfort meal when tired and overwhelmed. Then the sun will come up tomorrow! Nite xo.”

Before revealing that she cried on her trip, Lee also told her followers that the move out of the Lily Pond took 10 days of 9 to 10 hours of work per day. Despite feeling exhausted, she said that it “gave me solace to do it alone with movers and helpers.” She also revealed that she will be spending the holidays with her family in Arizona.

“I want to thank everyone for their love and support. I have tried to handle all that has happened in the last 15 months with Grace and Honor and Dignity...... being thoughtful of everyone’s feelings,” Lee wrote.

Lee listed the property for $2 million in May 2019 and was able to sell it for $1.85 million just this October. She bought the estate in 2008 for $1.3 million and shared it with Cuomo, whom she was in a relationship with for 14 years.

Cuomo and Lee broke up in September 2019, reports claimed.
