Sandra Lee Engaged To Ben Youcef, Shows Off Engagement Ring In Paris: Report

Sandra Lee has gotten engaged to boyfriend Ben Youcef in France, a report says.

The 55-year-old TV chef accepted Youcef's proposal during their romantic Paris getaway, the New York Post reported. Lee showed off her massive diamond ring as she and her 46-year-old fiancé hit the town to celebrate their apparent engagement, unnamed sources told the outlet.

Youcef ⁠— who is an interfaith leader, actor and producer ⁠— appeared to be wearing a band on his wedding finger, according to photos obtained by the outlet.

In the snaps, the pair can be seen sharing a sweet embrace outside Parisian hotspot L’Avenue Saturday night before heading in for dinner.

Lee wore a white dress and flat shoes. Meanwhile, Youcef donned a black leather jacket, dark pants, a pair of white sneakers and a white T-shirt emblazoned with the logo "Fear of God."

Another photo showed Youcef taking a picture of the cookbook author with a phone as she poses on a gray scooter.

Youcef whisked the Food Network star to Paris after her ex Andrew Cuomo resigned as governor of New York amid a sexual harassment scandal, unnamed friends of Lee told New York Post.

"Ben really wanted to distract Sandra from all the news, so he whisked her away to Paris. He knows how hard this has been on her and he wants to make sure she feels loved and supported," an unnamed source close to Youcef told the outlet.

The source continued, "Ben is incredibly protective of Sandra. They're soulmates and head over heels in love."

Lee was also photographed last Tuesday in the French Riviera village of Ramatuelle with Youcef, Page Six reported. They held hands as they walked and took in the sites, before heading to dinner at L’Écurie du Castellas.

Earlier this month, Lee and Youcef were also spotted getting cozy in St. Tropez, with the chef sparking engagement rumors by sporting a large diamond ring on her left hand.

However, an unnamed friend of Lee told Page Six at the time, "It's very hard for Sandra to move on — she's not done licking her wounds."

Youcef is the first man Lee has publicly dated since parting ways with Cuomo in 2019. Lee and Cuomo never got engaged during their 14 years together.

She met Youcef after she left the home she shared with Cuomo and moved to Malibu, California. Their friends have been rooting for them since they met in the spring in Los Angeles, an unnamed source told New York Post.

"Ben is a serious and accomplished nonprofit Interfaith leader providing the call to prayer heard all around the world," an unnamed source told Page Six of Lee's beau earlier this month. "He is as beautiful inside as he is outside – they make a gorgeous couple. They’re both extremely spiritual."
