Sarah Ferguson wanted her ex-husband Prince Andrew to lean on her despite Prince Philip giving her the cold shoulder.

The Duke and Duchess of York have reignited the rumors of them getting back after they were spotted spending more time together lately. According to reports, they both visited Queen Elizabeth II in Balmoral but travelled separately to avoid being photographed together.

However, Ferguson was forced to leave the Queen’s estate in Scotland earlier than expected because Prince Philip arrived days earlier than his scheduled arrival. Prince Andrew and Ferguson left Balmoral together and were spotted landing in Malaga on Wednesday afternoon. They were seen getting off a private jet and riding the same car. They were reportedly going to their favorite Spanish hideaway, Sotogrande.

The sighting came amid the controversy involving Prince Andrew following the death of his close pal paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. According to an insider, Ferguson wanted her ex to rely on her.

“She wants to be his shoulder to cry on. She wants to be there for him in his hour of need,” the source said. “She feels this is like the old days when they would take on the world together.”

The staff reportedly considered the Duke and Duchess of York the “royal odd couple.” Some are wondering if they would ever go public as a couple and if they would remarry.

However, many believe that Prince Andrew and Ferguson would not remarry while Prince Philip is alive. The Duke of Edinburgh is reportedly still angry at Fergusnon for the shame she brought to the royal family after her toegate scandal. In fact, they are avoiding each other because Prince Philip doesn’t want to be in the same room with his former daughter-in-law.

“They could never remarry while Prince Philip is alive,” the source said.

“He is dead against Sarah and blames her for bringing shame on the royals in the Nineties. He still won’t be in the same room as her if he can help it, but made an exception for the royal weddings last year.”

Meanwhile, unlike Prince Philip, Queen Elizabeth II has always had a “soft spot” for Ferguson. In fact, she welcomes the couple to the Balmoral during summer while Prince Philip is away.
