Sarah Ferguson is sure that she will be crying at Princess Eugenie's royal wedding.

It's normal for parents to get emotional when their children tie the knot with their partners. The Duchess of York revealed that she would surely have the same reaction at the upcoming royal wedding.

"I do understand why mothers cry at weddings now," Ferguson told BBC's "The One Sow" presenters Alex Jones and Michael Ball (via Express). "All my life I thought, ‘Oh, what’s she crying for?’ It’s lovely, it’s a great day. It’s my little girl."

According to the Duchess of York, it won't be the first time she has cried at a wedding. She confessed that she shed a tear when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle exchanged "I do's" in May.

"It was such an honour, just beautiful," Prince Andrew's ex-wife said after witnessing the intimate ceremony. "To see love like that is nothing better. That makes you cry."

At the time Ferguson is busy helping Princess Eugenie with her wedding preparations. According to an insider, the duchess is very involved with the planning. In fact, she and Prince Andrew are working together for the reception.

"Sarah and Andrew are helping to organise the evening party," a source told Vanity Fair. "The plan is for a marquee to be set up in the grounds and dancing late into the night."

"Sarah is being very hands-on, but in a great way, and Eugenie wants her mum to be a big part of it all and will make sure Sarah is included in every aspect," the insider added. "Sarah is bringing a very eclectic and exciting guest list to Windsor."

Princess Eugenie's wedding reception will be held at the Duke and Duchess of York's shared home at Royal Lodge in Windsor. She will have a marquee at the venue.

A marquee is a budget option for many Britons who want a stately feel closer to home for their reception. However, according to Emily Hodgkin, this choice is risky because October is one of the rainiest months of the year.

Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank will be tying the knot on Oct. 12 at St. George's Church at Windsor Castle.
