Saudi Arabia Orders Its Citizens To Leave Lebanon Over Kidnapping Fears
The government of Saudi Arabia has ordered its nationals to depart Lebanon “immediately” following a spate of kidnappings in the country.
The Saudi embassy in Beirut noted credible threats to abduct Saudis in Lebanon, which borders strife-torn Syria.
Earlier, a Lebanese militant group said it had kidnapped Syrians who reportedly belonged to the Free Syrian Army, an opposition group that seeks to overthrow President Bashar al-Assad.
