The Philippines' pride and arguably No. 1 pop group SB19 wrapped up its New York City concert successfully this weekend.
On Saturday, fans from all over the country and different parts of the world gathered at the Palladium Times Square to witness the Billboard-nominated act's first-ever U.S. concert.
The crowd went wild when the five-piece act, comprising Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken and Justin, performed their hit songs, including "WYAT (Where You At)," "Bazinga" and "Mapa," at the historical theater.
At one point during the show, the group's leader, Pablo, teased that they would be returning to the Big Apple sometime next year with "new songs," as shown in a video shared on Twitter by user @Rora1608.
This suggested that there would be a follow-up to their 2022 world tour and a new album in the pipeline. Before "WYAT's" release, the group went on hiatus for more than a year after debuting its "Pagsibol (Growth)" EP in February 2021.
The official Twitter account of the group shared photos from the concert and reiterated their return to New York City in the future.
"A slice of Big Apple? We finally got it! That show was definitely a blast! A huge thank you to all of you for coming! We hope that ain't the last. See you in the future," the caption for the post read.
A day before their N.Y.C. concert, the boys dropped by "Good Day New York" for their U.S. TV debut. SB19 performed its latest single "WYAT (Where You At)" live on the show and did a short interview to promote the U.S. leg of the group's world tour.
SB19 is heading to Los Angeles next for another one-off show at the famous live entertainment and special events venue, Avalon Hollywood. Tickets are still available for the Nov. 12 event.
After the Hollywood stop, the fast-rising pop group is bound for The Golden City. SB19 will bring its "WYAT" tour at the Fox Theatre in Redwood City, California, on Nov. 18.
The "WYAT" world tour is part of the multi-awarded Southeast Asian supergroup's promotion for its latest single, which dropped on YouTube and other music streaming platforms on Sept. 2.
As previously reported, the group is working on cementing its Filipino brand in the global music scene, which is undeniably becoming dominated by Asian artists due to K-pop's worldwide popularity.
