Oscar-nominated actress Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost have tied the knot in an “intimate ceremony” after getting engaged last year.
The news of their marriage was announced on social media by Meals on Wheels, a charity organization that looks to empower local community programs to improve the health and quality of life of the seniors. The organization shared the news of the couple’s nuptials on its official Instagram profile saying that the duo followed all the “safety” protocols while exchanging vows.
“We’re thrilled to break the news that Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost were married over the weekend in an intimate ceremony with their immediate family and loved ones, following COVID-19 safety precautions as directed by the CDC ” the charity wrote on Instagram.
The organization also shared that Johansson and the “Saturday Night Live” writer wanted to support its vision of helping “vulnerable older adults” amid the global health crisis and used their marriage as a platform to raise awareness.
“Their wedding wish is to help make a difference for vulnerable older adults during this difficult time by supporting @mealsonwheelsamerica. Please consider donating to celebrate the happy couple by clicking the link in our bio,” Meals on Wheels wrote on the image-sharing platform.
Meanwhile, the “Marriage Story” star’s representative has also confirmed the couple’s wedding in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter.
Their fans immediately flooded the post with congratulatory messages and wished them a happy married life.
“Good for them! They are so cute together. Congratulations to them,” a user wrote.
“Yay! So happy for them! Darling couple! Good news during tumultuous times is AWESOME!” another user stated.

This is Johansson's third marriage. She shares a daughter named Rose with her second ex-husband Roman Dauriac.
The couple met each other for the first time in 2006 when Johansson hosted an episode of “SNL.” In 2017, multiple sources confirmed with Page Six that the “Black Widow” star and Jost were seen kissing at the show’s season finale party.
The couple made their relationship red carpet official at the premiere of “Avengers: Infinity War.” The duo was seen together on numerous occasions and even attended the 2018 edition of the Met Gala together.
In May 2019, Johansson’s publicist told the Associated Press that the lovers are officially engaged after two years of dating.
