‘Scorpion’ Season 3 Spoilers: Episode 12 Promo Teases Team Scorpion's Plan To Save Cabe's Life

“Scorpion” Season 3, episode 12 will see Team Scorpion saving Cabe’s (Robert Patrick) life.

In “Ice-Ca-Cabes,” Team Scorpion will head to the desert for a mission that involves exploding shrapnel. Their leader, Cabe, will be seriously injured so Walter (Elyes Gabel) and his friends would have to think of a way to make sure he’d survive. The team decide to freeze Cabe’s body so they could save his life. In the teaser released by CBS for the episode, Paige (Katharine McPhee) has some doubts that their plan will work. She asks Sylvester (Ari Stidham) what will happen if their plan fails, and the latter says that Cabe will die.

Also in the clip, Happy (Jadyn Wong) has a very concerned look on her face, while Walter tries to resuscitate Cabe. Toby (Eddie Kaye Thomas) tries to calm Happy down. Next thing they know, Cabe’s vitals have dropped drastically, and Toby holds him close to his chest.

Meanwhile, “Scorpion” Season 3, episode 12 was originally slated for release before Christmas. However, CBS decided to move the episode’s air date two weeks later. To cover up for the original schedule, CBS aired a rerun of “Fish Filet.” The installment originally aired in October. In the episode, Paige’s son, Ralph (Riley B. Smith), was bullied by his classmates to do their assignments for them. Cabe and Happy told Ralph that he should stand up against the bullies, but Sylvester has opposing views. It was later on revealed that Sylvester was also bullied a lot when he was in school.

In the same episode, Team Scorpion was tasked to crack a cryptic message written. Since the message only consisted of symbols, Walter and his friends had to seek help from the top gang leaders in the city.

“Scorpion” Season 2, episode 12 will air on CBS on Jan. 2 at 9 p.m. EST.
