CBS just dropped the teaser for “Scorpion” Season 3, episode 13.

In the hilarious clip for “Faux Money Maux Problems,” Veronica (Lea Thompson) tries to help Walter (Elyes Gabel) and Paige (Katharine McPhee) deal with a woman who produces counterfeit money. When the two realize that they have been duped, Paige asks her mom, Veronica, to assist them because she used to be a con artist. But when they come face-to-face with the woman, Veronica is the first one to choke.

Since Veronica, Walter and Paige do not have a plan on how to stop the woman, the former fakes a heart attack. Unfortunately for her, this will not work on the other con artist. When she sees Veronica’s fake attack, she gets even more pissed and tells her that she’s the first one she will kill if they don’t cooperate.

Elsewhere, Toby (Eddie Kaye Thomas), Happy (Jadyn Wong), Sylvester (Ari Stidham) and Cabe (Robert Patrick) will try to help their teammates remotely. Over the past three seasons, Team Scorpion has gone on all sorts of missions, and they always come out successful. The same can definitely be expected on next Monday’s episode.

Other than their upcoming mission, Walter and Paige will also have to deal with their personal relationship. After Tim’s (Scott Porter) departure, Paige has given Walter the cold shoulder. Walter has been trying to make it up to her, but to no avail. Luckily for the lead character, Veronica is in town and will be helping Walter gain Paige’s trust all over again. After all, when she first came to town, she told both Walter and Paige that she likes him for her daughter.

“Scorpion” Season 3, episode 13 will air on CBS on Jan. 16 at 9 p.m. EST.
