‘Scorpion’ Season 3 Spoilers: Is There Still Hope For Walter, Paige? Katharine McPhee Dishes On Relationship

“Scorpion” is already halfway through Season 3, but Walter (Elyes Gabel) and Paige (Katharine McPhee) still haven’t taken their relationship to the next level.

In the previous episode, Paige’s boyfriend, Tim (Scott Porter), decided to leave Team Scorpion to pursue a job in Jordan. But this did not pave the way for Paige and Walter to rekindle their romance. Instead, Paige is now upset with Walter for encouraging Tim to leave, so the two of them haven’t had the chance to bond again.

While speaking with TV Line, McPhee said that Paige will continue to be frustrated with Walter, but this does not mean things between them will remain the same until the finale. “I think Scott Porter as Tim did an amazing job playing the conflict. Because really, there was more conflict between the two of them. Paige was part of the triangle, but it was really more about her frustration with how Walter behaved. She was more of an observer, seeing Walter in a different light – and being disappointed,” she said.

McPhee also responded to one fan question regarding whether or not Walter will remember that he told Paige “I love you” while he was hallucinating in outer space. The "American Idol” alum said that Walter is already starting to remember details from that time. McPhee also shared that they have yet to film some of the upcoming episodes of “Scorpion” Season 3, so anything can still happen between the two characters.

Meanwhile, “Scorpion” Season 2, episode 13 saw Lea Thompson’s return as Veronica. In “Faux Money Maux Problems,” Paige reconciled with her mom, Veronica, after the latter helped Team Scorpion stop a grifter who has been producing fake money.
