Scott Disick Rehab Update 2015: ‘Kardashians’ Star Is Getting Paid To Stay At Treatment Center, Source Says
It costs people thousands of dollars to attend most in-patient rehab facilities, unless you’re Scott Disick. The reality star, also known as Lord Disick, is getting paid to stay at Rythmia Life Advancement Center in Costa Rica. The facility uses Ibogaine to treat addiction; the psychedelic drug is illegal in the U.S.
But LD’s rehab stint is just an endorsement, not a cry for help, an insider told the New York Daily News’ Confidenti@l. “He is 100,000 percent getting paid" by the facility, the source said. “The rehab center even sent a press release about him.”
So just how much is Disick getting paid? It could be hundreds of thousands of dollars. “They have to adhere to strict confidentiality. He’s pulling down big dollars on this one. I heard mid-six figures.”
Further, it’s not the first time he’s been to the treatment center. He covertly spent a week there in February, but soon checked himself out, which meant he didn’t get much experience with the controversial drug. “He only took it once,” an insider told In Touch Weekly. “Then he flew home.”
Disick’s stay in rehab came after an alcohol-fueled night at Harrah’s in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The reality star reportedly had to be helped back to his room after he was spotted walking around the hotel barefoot at 8 a.m. After news broke that he decided to get help, Disick issued the following statement: “I realize my issues are bigger than me and I’m ready to truly remedy this struggle I continue to battle.”
Kourtney Kardashian, 35, the mother of his three children, has remained cavalier since her longtime boyfriend entered rehab. She posted several tweets about it being a “delightful day” and how “good” she felt on the same day Disick, 31, was admitted into rehab.
It could be because the eldest Kardashian sister has an aloof demeanor, or Disick could have entered the rehab as another Kardashian endorsement deal.
