"Sea of Thieves" and "Borderlands" collaboration is now underway with the limited-time event allowing gamers to get their hands on the Mayhem ship. The ship, inspired by the "Borderlands" series, is free, but players have to work hard to obtain it.
How To Unlock The Mayhem Ship
The "Borderlands" ship in "Sea of Thieves is available as a reward in the latest event titled "Making Mayhem." To unlock the Mayhem ship set, players just need to earn enough Favor while the event is active.
The limited-time event kicks off on Aug. 24 and runs until Sept. 7. To start the event, players need to head over to an outpost and look for the Bilge Rats boss Larinna.
She is out front of the players' closest Outpost Tavern and will point them in the direction of the challenges they must complete. Players can take on minor challenges available in the event.
This includes taking out skeletons with Firebombs or taking out shares with Gunpowder Barrels. They can also go all out taking on major event challenges like completing a Tall Tale or looting the Treasure Vault of all its gold.
As players complete challenges, they get Favor, as well as more pieces of the Mayhem ship set. Eventually, they will be able to complete the "Borderlands" ship.
While the ship may not please some fans, there is no chance it will go unnoticed. Many players will definitely not miss the chance to get their hands on this vibrant ship. Players can check out the Mayhem ship set reveal trailer below.
Making Mayhem Event
Game developer Rare has a new event for players to enjoy courtesy of the limited-time event "Making Mayhem." The event, as the name suggests, is all about causing a disturbance in the game. It was announced during the Xbox Gamescom stream Tuesday. Players need to complete various challenges to earn Favour with the Bilge Rats.
Minor challenges in the Making Mayhem event allow pirates to earn a "fair amount" of Favor. Major challenges, on the other hand, reward players with a"good" amount of Favor.
"Sea of Thieves" is available on Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S.
