Secret FISA Court NSA Opinion: What Does Is Its Release Mean For The U.S. Government? [VIDEO]
Former NSA contractor Edward Snowden leaked top secret information regarding U.S. surveillance operations in June, and now there have been multiple lawsuits regarding NSA activity.
A digital rights group is suing the government for the release of a secret court opinion from the FISA court in October 2011 that details how some of the NSA’s surveillance was unconstitutional.
The 30-year-old whistleblower is responsible for the largest surveillance security leak in history, and is now believed to be hiding out at a Moscow airport waiting to see which country will accept his asylum for request.
Snowden sought asylum in at least 20 countries and only three have agreed to talk with him, including Bolivia, Nicaragua and Venezuela.
