Things are not looking good for Eric!

The mystery surrounding Kate’s (Jordana Brewster) murder continued to unravel Sunday night in episode 2, exposing more details that could incriminate Eric (Michael Ealy).

Viewers learned that Eric did “accidentally” kill a high-school classmate. However, he’s still insisting that he did not play a hand in Kate’s death. Other juicy details emerged though, including that he was being blackmailed by someone. This person wanted to expose his criminal past, and Kate was reportedly close to figuring out who it was. But Kate also had her own secret. She withdrew $100,000 from their joint bank account without discussing it with him.

According to the synopsis for episode 3, titled “The Liar,” questions about Kate’s past will continue to pile up. A “secret rendezvous” she had at a “sleazy hotel” could add to Cornell’s (Juliette Lewis) list of murder suspects. But Cornell is not letting Eric off the hook just yet. Eric’s ex-girlfriend gave Cornell some “explosive information” that the detective will confront him about.

Eric will try to get more answers to clear his name by tracking down Kate’s “missing assistant,” Liam. However, Liam will only add to the questions that Eric has about Kate. Liam was not exactly who he said he was, but it’s unclear if Kate knew that or not. Unfortunately it doesn’t sound like Eric will get much out of his wife’s assistant, because someone will get to him first.
