Selena Gomez Admits Her Hair is ‘Very Fake,’ Talks Favorite Taylor Swift Song
Selena Gomez plays a hilarious game with YouTube star Lilly Singh, in which she admits her hair is “very fake,” along with other details.
In a candid interview with Singh released on YouTube Monday, Gomez answered around 5 questions which ranged from her favorite Taylor Swift song to her single that she likes the most out of her new album, “Revival.” However, it was towards the end of the interview where she confessed that her hair is “very fake” as compared to Singh’s long locks.
The “Good for You” singer made the revelation after she wrote that her favorite thing during the short meeting with the YouTube star was Singh’s “humor and heart.” The comedian and actress was thankful with Gomez’s compliment and mentioned it was the first time that somebody didn’t say it was her long hair. Singh then stated that “it’s not fake” and even asked Gomez to pull her hair.
The former Disney star complied, then gently tugged at her own hair and said, “Mine, however, is very fake.”
Apart from the “very fake” hair revelation, Gomez also revealed that her favorite Swift song is either “Wildest Dream” or “Bad Blood.” When asked what her favorite “Revival” song is, Gomez replied that it’s “Kill Em With Kindness.” She explained that it was something that her mother had embedded in her.
“You have to wake up with yourself every morning and people are going to give you their worst, and it’s so easy to be mean,” she continued. “I’m Latin, I can be mean really fast if I want. But I just don’t feel good about myself. I think people need to hear a message like this.”
Meanwhile, earlier this month, Gomez surprised her a few of her fans when she included them in her music video shoot for her new single, “Same Old Love,” Billboard magazine reported. Her fans filled out the Palace Theatre located in downtown Los Angeles, without them knowing that they were going to appear in Gomez’s music video.
“The number one priority when it comes to anything I do is my fans…” she told Billboard. “We wanted this ending to be really cool and interactive in a way, so my fans are gonna be a part of it.”
Gomez’s “Revival” album was released on Oct. 9.
