Selena Gomez Admits She Likes To ‘Walk Around Naked’ At Home; Did Taylor Swift Convince Her To Move?

Selena Gomez told Ellen DeGeneres that she loves living alone. The pop singer and actress stopped by “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” Tuesday to talk about her movie “Rudderless” and all of the recent changes in her life. Gomez said that she recently moved out of her parents' house and now lives in her own place with a friend from Texas. A roommate won’t stop her from walking around naked, though.

“I can, you know, walk around naked and stuff,” Gomez laughed.

She said she enjoyed not having to check in with her parents and having her own space to do whatever she wanted. “I think that the best thing is being able to go into my own space and have it just be mine,” Gomez explained.

However, someone is very intent on Gomez moving out of her Los Angeles home. Her longtime pal, singer and actress Taylor Swift, has been trying to convince Gomez to move to New York City.

"[I’m calling it] Project Selena," Swift told Rolling Stone. "I think I can do it."

“She's been begging me every time we get on the phone to move to New York, because it's been a really good thing for her,” Gomez explained to DeGeneres. “You know, we've been friends for seven years, and she really feels like she kind of stepped into her own and became a woman there, and she's like, 'All right, your turn!'"

“I feel like I might [move to New York], eventually, but not right now,” Gomez told Ellen.

This isn’t the first time she has addressed Swift’s plan to bring her friend to the East Coast. Earlier this month, Gomez said that she would consider making the move. “I've always said that I want to have a love affair and live there.... Everyone always says I'm more New York when they meet me, so maybe it would be good for me,” Gomez told E! Online.
