Selena Gomez Admits She Sometimes Feels She'll Be 'Alone' Forever

Despite being one of the most famous people around the world, Selena Gomez feels there is a chance that she will end up “alone” forever because she is finding it difficult to find someone special at this point.

In an interview with Apple Music and Genius, the 27-year-old musician opened up about her dating life and revealed that there are days when she feels that she would not be able to find her “soulmate.” However, she later admitted that she knows that there is someone for everybody and it is just a matter of time until she gets to meet her significant other.

The “Lose You To Love Me” songstress made that observation while breaking down the lyrics of her latest blockbuster song “Rare.” She further stated that the thought of being alone stays with her for almost fifteen minutes.

“I am still a baby. I got a lot to figure out. But I do know, I believe. Some days, when I wake up and I am annoyed and I am like, ‘I am gonna be alone forever.’ But after that 15 minute goes away, I say to myself, ‘I know that there is someone for everybody,” Gomez said.

The acclaimed musician has previously dated fellow musicians like Justin Bieber, Zedd, and The Weeknd. A few weeks earlier, it was reported that the latest song “Lose You To Love Me” was about her relationship with Bieber. However, Gomez has not commented on the reports.

Later in the interview, the “We Don’t Talk Anymore” hitmaker discussed her relationship with her fans and how her new album is helping the young generation know their worth amid a relationship.

“[For some people] there is this satisfaction out of hurting someone because you know that they care. Purposefully putting someone down because you want to keep them at a level,” Gomez said.

In January, the recording artist opened up about the special bond she shares with her followers and revealed that the journey she has gone through with her fans is something she will never forget and that is the reason she loves them so much.

Recently, the “Rare” hitmaker slammed her critics for constantly telling her that she is not a great singer and revealed that it does not matter what they think because she works hard in creating melodies.
