Selena Gomez, Bella Hadid and The Weeknd made headlines after the reports about the two singers’ rumored romance surfaced. However, the love triangle between these celebrities appears to have gotten even messier, sparking bad blood among their circle of friends.

Despite the fact that Hadid and The Weeknd, born Abel Tesfaye, ended their 18-month relationship in November amicably, their friends reportedly said that the “Starboy” singer’s new romance with Gomez is making the situation complicated. In fact, there were claims of betrayal, and the latest accusation was aimed at the 24-year-old “Hands to Myself” hitmaker, saying she’s just using Hadid’s ex-boyfriend for publicity.

Speaking of Hadid, Daily Mail revealed the 20-year-old Victoria’s Secret model reportedly called The Weeknd to warn him about Gomez. It was previously reported that Hadid was pissed and hurt after learning that her ex-beau has moved on quickly from their breakup.

According to an insider close to Hadid, she called The Weeknd to tell him that Gomez is just using him. She also warned him about Gomez’s history with men and how long they have lasted. However, the latter didn’t believe his former girlfriend because it might just be a jealous fit. “Bella has reached out to Abel a few times and told him Selena is using him,” the source told Us Weekly. “He thinks she's just jealous.”

An insider added Gomez and The Weeknd started dating in November after the “Kill Em with Kindness” singer completed a rehab stint for depression. But it wasn’t until last week that the rumored couple made their budding romance public after they were spotted together in a PDA-filled date night.

Even though Gomez’s camp insisted that the former Disney child star did not break any code of friendship when started dating the Weeknd, their relationship has reportedly sparked a major bad blood among Taylor Swift’s girl squad, which Hadid and Gomez are known members. In another Daily Mail report, showbiz insiders hinted Hadid might feel betrayed after close family friend Kylie Jenner and her beau Tyga joined The Weeknd for a night out in New York on Tuesday.
