Selena Gomez Debuts Swooped Bangs, Teases ‘Fetish’ Music Video [PHOTOS & VIDEO]

Selena Gomez gave her hair an upgrade to celebrate turning 25 this year!

After celebrating her 25th birthday on July 22, the singer debuted a much more grown-up look when she grabbed dinner at The Nice Guy on Monday. Gomez rocked a glittering Jenny Packham dress with hologram sequins, which she paired with diamond statement earrings, a matching cocktail ring, Sergio Rossi sandals and a beaded-strap Alyx bag, Vogue noted. Even more eye-catching than Gomez’s outfit, however, were her gorgeous, swooped bangs.

Marissa Marino, Gomez’s longtime hairstylist, posted photos of the former Disney star’s new ‘do. In the caption, she confirmed that the “Hands to Myself” singer had not been wearing a wig. “Guess who wanted bangs again and is looking smokin hot tonight…” she wrote.

Prior to debuting her new hairstyle, Gomez grabbed lunch with boyfriend The Weeknd in Los Angeles on Sunday as a belated birthday celebration. Unlike her glamorous Monday style, Gomez and her beau went for more casual looks, dressed in his-and-hers sweatpants and sneakers.

Over the weeknd, Gomez also enjoyed a romantic dinner with The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, and an intimate birthday party with her family and friends. She posted photos from her birthday celebration on Instagram, one of which showed her about to blow out the candles of her cake.

Meanwhile, Gomez also teased her upcoming music video for “Fetish.” She shared eerie stills from the music video, as well as a short clip. In the photos and video, the singer can be seen wearing a long yellow dress and entering what appears to be a freezer.

In the caption, she noted that Petra Collins directed the music video of “Fetish,” in which Gucci Mane features. Collins also shot promo photos for another one of Gomez’s music videos, “Bad Liar.”

Fans seem to have mixed reactions about the teaser photos and clip for the “Fetish” music video,” although Gomez’s followers all seem to be excited to see it. “Hiding in the freezer? Me at work when I don’t wanna deal [with] costumers,” joked one follower in the comments of her Instagram photo.

Some fans appear to already be emotional just from the promo pics. “Nope, [I’m] not crying [it’s] the onions in the background,” a second fan wrote.

“I thought u were going to say that it’s out and I almost jumped and screamed out of excitement until I realized that I have to wait even more,” another commented, along with a heartbreak emoji.

Gomez will release the “Fetish” music video on Wednesday, July 26.
