Selena Gomez Snuggles Boyfriend The Weeknd While He Plays Video Games

Nothing can stop Selena Gomez from expressing her affection to her boyfriend.

On Sunday, The Weeknd shared on Instagram Story a snapshot of his girlfriend, Gomez, cuddling him while he was busy playing video games. He captioned the photo with “Home.”

The “Hands to Myself” singer sported a black sweatshirt as she wrapped herself in his arms. Meanwhile, the “Starboy” crooner was not paying 100 percent attention to her as he was clutching an Xbox controller and was presumably staring at a big TV screen, Us Weekly reported.

The publication added that the pair has been enjoying low-key date nights. On Aug. 11, they were spotted enjoying a comedy show at the Laugh Factory in West Hollywood.

Gomez and The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, debuted on the red carpet as a couple at the 2017 Met Gala in New York City in May. In the said event, the duo was spotted kissing and standing with their arms entwined. They took their relationship internationally when the “Bad Liar” songstress joined the “I Feel It Coming” singer on his Starboy World Tour in Europe.

“I love being supportive,” Gomez said about joining The Weeknd on his tour. “I love just being there and having someone’s back. It feels good. I haven’t had that feeling in a while.”

While Gomez is doing her best to be there for her boyfriend, The Weeknd is also making sure to return the favor. He wants to make his girlfriend special, too.

Last month, Gomez celebrated her 25th birthday, but The Weeknd was not free as he was in Paris to headline the Lollapalooza that was set on the same day. However, he made sure not to miss his love’s natal day, so he jetted back to the United States after the event to be with her.

Gomez and The Weeknd were first spotted publicly in January. In March, they enjoyed a romantic aquarium date in Toronto. At around the same time sources close to the couple revealed that their relationship was getting stronger.

“They’re doing great together,” a source close to Gomez told People. “Abel treats Selena really well and he makes her very happy. They’re not shy about showing affection in public, and that’s not how she usually is. She’s pretty private about relationships, but she really likes him and doesn’t feel the need to hide it.”

From The Weeknd’s recent post, it looks like Gomez is not really shy in showing her affection to him. The pair is still very much in love with each other.
