Selena Gomez Stuns In Black Gown During Wedding Before New Song Release [PHOTOS]
Selena Gomez is living her best life! The singer-actress looked gorgeous and happier in than ever as she attended her close friend's wedding in Los Angeles on Thursday.
Gomez's pal, Courtney Barry, wed Sam Lopez earlier this week, and the "13 Reasons Why" producer made sure to be there to celebrate her pals' big day. In photos Barry shared on Instagram, the 26-year-old stunned in a black floor-length gown that was embellished with jewels. Gomez styled her hair in a neat bun and wore red lipstick for a pop of color.
Gomez wasn't the only celebrity at the nuptials as One Direction member Niall Horan, 25, was also in attendance, wearing a blue suit and white shirt. Gomez's pal Julia Michaels, with whom she has collaborated on several tracks over the years, also came to celebrate the couple's wedding.
Gomez, the bride, groom and the rest of their pals posed for some snaps in a photo booth. They also snapped some pics during the reception in front of a large mirror at the venue.
One wedding guest spotted Gomez dancing to one of her songs, "Hands to Myself," according to Daily Mail. "When your girl’s song comes on and we all party! @selenagomez," they captioned the video of the singer jamming to her own song.
Earlier this month, Gomez and several of their gal pals headed to Cabo, Mexico for Barry's bachelorette trip. Gomez shared a set of photos from their day at the beach on Instagram, showing the singer in a two-piece white bikini and large gold hoop earrings.
One snapshot in Gomez's post showed her sharing a laugh with a pal, while another featured the "Kill Em With Kindness" singer lounging by the beach with another friend.
Meanwhile, Gomez is gearing up for several projects lined up for 2019, including her upcoming collab with J Balvin and Tainy and Benny Blanco.
Tainy recently revealed in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight that their upcoming song is going to be "crazy" and will make people "feel good."
He also had nothing but praise for Gomez, whom he described as "incredible" and a "queen." "It's such an honor to have her on my first single, it's insane. Hopefully, we can continue to do some more work together," he said at the "Premio Lo Nuestro" red carpet in Miami on Thursday.
As for how the collab came to be, Tainy dished that Blanco, Gomez and Balvin immediately wanted to work together on the song after hearing it for the first time.
"It's crazy and for them to hear it and not even think about it and say, 'Let's go. Let's do it,'" he recalled. "Sometime it's a process and they are not feeling it, but this was, as soon as they heard it they were down."
