The holidays are a time for everyone to be together. And when loved ones can’t be in the same place together, at least there’s Apple’s FaceTime! Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato all had a girl’s night together thanks to technology.

Gomez, 21, took to Instagram to share their date night. “Just a Saturday night,” she wrote on Saturday. “Taylor's tea, Demi's laugh. Honestly, can't complain.” The screen shot shows Gomez and the “22” star holding oversized cups of tea, with bright grins, as Lovato giggles from the other side of the phone.

The “Come and Get It” singer is reportedly battling lupus, but looked like she was all smiles over the holiday weekend. Naturally, the image received more than 600,000 likes on the social media site and subsequently generated hundreds of comments.

The three starlets have endured Hollywood together, and Us Weekly quote an interview of Gomez’s where she said she and her BFF Swift had experienced many of the same things. "She just became the person I'd go to for an issue with my family or boyfriend," the “Wizards of Waverly Place" star said about John Mayer’s onetime lover. "It's so hard to trust girls, so I'm lucky to have her."

Gomez, too, is a good friend. At least according to Lovato. She said about the “Spring Breakers” star: "We've been through a lot together. We've had periods of time where we grew apart and we just didn't really talk. But now we're in a place where I think we realized that life is so short, and that when you have people in your life that love you so much, then you should just always be around them.”

But the former “X Factor” judge, who recently admitted to alcohol and substance abuse, didn’t stop there. “She has a great soul,” the “Heart Attack” singer was quoted as saying about Gomez, according to Us Weeky, after she spoke during a “Live From MTV” special in May. “She's talented, she's beautiful, and she will always be really, really close to my heart.” Lovato said she just liked “everything" about her friend.
