Selena Gomez Thinks Ex-Boyfriend Justin Bieber Playing ‘Game’ With Hailey Baldwin Over Marriage Statement, Report Says
Selena Gomez thinks that ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber’s statement on marrying rumored girlfriend Hailey Baldwin in future was “embarrassing,” Hollywood Life reported. However, Gomez was happy about the fact that he spoke about Baldwin instead of her during the interview, the report added.
In his interview with GQ magazine for the latest edition, Bieber hinted at possibility of marrying Baldwin. “I don’t want to put anyone in a position where they feel like I’m only theirs, only to be hurt in the end. … I know that in the past I’ve hurt people and said things that I didn’t mean to make them happy in the moment. So now I’m just more so looking at the future, making sure I’m not damaging them. What if Hailey ends up being the girl I’m gonna marry, right? If I rush into anything, if I damage her, then it’s always gonna be damaged,” Bieber told GQ.
Now, according to a source, Bieber’s ex-girlfriend Gomez thought he used to play same “game” about marriage with her, the Hollywood Life reported. “She thinks it’s pretty embarrassing that he’s talking about how he might marry Hailey one day because it’s the same game he used to play with her,” the insider told the entertainment website.
“He [Bieber] always used to tell her that he was going to marry her, it was like this prize he dangled over her head to keep her around no matter how much crap he pulled,” the source told Hollywood Life. “Now he’s doing the same thing with Hailey.”
However, Gomez was glad that he was talking about Baldwin and not about the 23-year-old. Gomez is “hoping this will finally get people to stop trying to get them back together,” the insider told the entertainment website.
It was reported recently that Bieber and Gomez would not get back together ever and the former couple have realized that. However, the 21-year-old Canadian singer reportedly had “loves” the relationship he had with Gomez.
