Serena Williams Shows Off Baby Bump: 5 Other Celebrities That Did The Same

World-renowned tennis player Serena Williams bared it all to show off her growing baby bump in a photo spread for Vanity Fair Tuesday. Williams also discussed the discovery of her pregnancy in an interview that accompanied the photo shoot.

The photographs were taken by famed photographer and portraitist Annie Leibovitz, who famously captured images of other pregnant stars, including Demi Moore for VF in 1991.

The much-praised tennis player did not realize she was with child at first. Jessica Steindorff, a friend of Williams, suspected the athlete was pregnant and suggested she take a test to determine her current state. Williams confirmed the news with six pregnancy tests.

"Oh my God, this can’t be—I’ve got to play a tournament," Williams told VF of her discovery. "How am I going to play the Australian Open? I had planned on winning Wimbledon this year."

As the world now knows, she didn't let her pregnancy stop her from competing in the Australian Open, even though she felt her endurance levels weren't the same because of it. Williams went on to win all seven sets of the tournament. At the time, only five people knew that she was with child, her coach and tournament officials excluded from that list.

BEYONCÉ

Before giving birth to twins June 14, Beyoncé shared a photo to Instagram from a photo shoot she did to celebrate her pregnancy in February. The "Formation" singer was more vocal with her second pregnancy compared to her first with daughter Blue Ivy.

"We would like to share our love and happiness," the singer wrote on Instagram. "We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes."

KIM KARDASHIAN

Kardashian is public about practically everything within her life. Her pregnancy was no exception to this rule. During her pregnancy with son Saint West, the "Keeping Up With The Kardashian" star shared a revealing selfie of her baby bump to her Instagram followers in August 2015.

"Everyone's body is different, every pregnancy is very different," Kardashian wrote on Instagram. "I've learned to love my body at every stage! I'm going to get even bigger & that's beautiful too! I'm blessed to even be pregnant."

LAUREN CONRAD

While Conrad may not have been fully nude when displaying her baby bump, the former "Laguna Beach" star shared photos of her beach bum(p) fun with her Instagram followers to help promote her new bikini line with Kohls.

NAYA RIVERA

Rivera's nude pregnancy photo spread with Yahoo! Style was released at an untimely moment — the day Kardashian shared her nude pregnancy selfie. The former "Glee" star responded to the rumored showdown on Twitter, saying: "I chose to share pregnancy photos because I think this is a very beautiful and special time in my life."

"Media outlets know that when you give your photos and an interview to run a story you never get a choice as to when it runs," Rivera continued. "So trying to make something out of nothing based on stupid assumptions is awful. Such a shame...especially when it comes to a woman and her beautiful pregnancy journey."

CIARA

Ciara showed off her baby bump in a topless photo shoot featured on Harper's Bazaar's website in March. During the interview, she also shared a story about her first born with rapper Future, saying: "He'll randomly pull my shirt up and be like, 'I want to see the baby.'"
