'Serving Up The Holidays' Lifetime Movie Premiere: Cast, Trailer, Synopsis
The Lifetime Christmas movies continue with the premiere of "Serving Up the Holidays," starring Britt Irvin and Zach Roerig, on Thursday night.
The film will be a treat, as fans likely aren't overly familiar with the stars. While Irvin did star in the network's "The Wrong Babysitter," she hasn't appeared in other titles. However, those who also watch Hallmark films may recognize her from "Time for You to Come Home for Christmas," as well as her role as Danielle Clayman on "Chesapeake Shores."
As for Roerig, he is a brand-new face in Lifetime, but fans may recognize him for his role as Matt Donovan on "The Vampire Diaries."
So what can fans expect from the film? According to a synopsis, a chance to fix some mistakes will lead to some romance and a chance to revisit what will really work in life.
"Scarlett (Irvin) is an incredible chef and co-owner of an upscale restaurant," the synopsis reads. "But every year, her too sophisticated and unique holiday dishes never sell because they are not considered festive enough. To shake things up this year, her best friend and co-owner buys her a ticket to a holiday cooking getaway in a beautiful villa where Scarlett will re-learn festive cooking from the bottom up, maybe find love with a handsome rival chef from her past (Roerig), and regain the Christmas spirit her food—and her life—truly needs."
"Serving Up the Holidays" airs Thursday at 8 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
