‘Shades Of Blue’ Season 2 Spoilers: Episode 6 Teaser Hints At Loman’s New Role

“Shades of Blue” Season 2 will soon see Loman (Dayo Okeniyi) assuming a new role in their team.

In the teaser released by NBC for “Shades of Blue” Season 2, episode 6, Detective Verco (Dov Davidoff) talks to Loman about the roles Harlee (Jennifer Lopez), Tess (Drea de Matteo), Tufo (Hampton Fluker) and Espada (Vincent Laresca) have been playing in the past couple of months. Verco calls Harlee the surrogate daughter because of her close relationship with Wozniak (Ray Liotta). Tess is called the Perp Whisperer because she simply follows orders from Harlee and Wozniak even though there are times she gets the leads first.

Verco calls Espada a Bottom Heavy Lifter because he is always ready to threaten the enemies. Tufo, on the other hand, is called the Loyal Foot Soldier because his loyalty is always with his team. But when it was time to give Loman a label, Verco first asks him what he thinks of himself. Since Loman has been doing more paperwork lately, he jokes about being the Paperwork Completer. But Verco tells him that he is the Fall Guy.

Throughout the past couple of episodes, Verco has been asking Loman for information about Donnie (Michael Esper). The latter was killed in Season 1 by Wozniak himself, and Loman has no idea what actually happened to him. But in episode 4, he saw a photo of Wozniak and Donnie that may prove they are close to each other. What Loman also doesn’t know is that Wozniak and Donnie were in a relationship during the time of the latter’s demise.

“Shades of Blue” Season 2 airs Sundays at 10 p.m. EST on NBC.
