Shanna Moakler and her boyfriend Matthew Rondeau's feud got out of control.

Moakler, 46, and Rondeau, 29, put on a united front in their previous interviews amid rumors that they were having issues in their relationship. However, things got out of hand, leading to Rondeau's arrest on Thursday for felony domestic violence following an altercation with Moakler.

"They were celebrating the 'Celebrity Big Brother' finale and got into a fight later on in the night, which is when things escalated," an unnamed insider told Us Weekly about the couple's conflict. "She left their home to give him space and came back in the morning, which is when they got into another fight."

The anonymous tipster added that it wasn't the first time Moakler and Rondeau came to blows. The pair allegedly had a "toxic relationship."

"They’ve gotten into fights before in the past. This one just got out of control," the source continued. "They definitely have a toxic relationship and go through this toxic cycle of breaking up and getting back together. Friends think she deserves better."

Before things got out of hand, Rondeau posted a video on Moakler's Instagram account alleging that she kept talking to other people while in a relationship with him. He also claimed that she wasn't over her ex, Travis Barker, who was already engaged to Kourtney Kardashian.

"She ain’t over f—king Travis, she ain’t over f—king anything. … So that’s what she f—king is. She’s a f—king whore, I don’t give a f—k, you can quote me on it. It’s f—king done. You are never gonna f—king see me with [her] again, I don’t give a f—k,” he was quoted by Us Weekly as saying in an Instagram Live video on Thursday.

Last week, Moakler addressed the rumors that she was bitter about Barker and the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star. She clarified that she wasn't and even mentioned that she was "happy" while "in a relationship."

"I think people, because of things that have happened in the press, or comments that I have made, people think that I'm really obsessed with the relationship or I'm bitter or I'm jealous, but I'm really just not," she told Entertainment Tonight after being eliminated from "Celebrity Big Brother."

"I'm in a relationship and I'm really happy, and it's just not something that's centered in my world, and that's why I was so excited for this 'Big Brother' opportunity because I wanted America to see me for who I was, and not necessarily what's pumped out to the masses and the media sometimes," she added.
