Coming off a decision loss to Errol Spence Jr., Porter is now looking for a fight that will essential for his career. And even though he is rooting for an instant rematch with Spence, Porter believes that a superfight with the Filipino legend makes a lot of sense.

In a recent interview with Elie Seckbach of EsNews, Porter revealed the three fighters he and his team are looking forward to. According to Porter, if Spence rematch wouldn’t happen soon, he has his eyes locked on Pacquiao and Danny Garcia.

Before Porter faced Spence, he has already named Pacquiao as his next target. According to Porter, only Spence and Pacquiao are the fights that matter for him at this point.

"The fights that matter to me are the ones that will make me the best welterweight on the planet, and that starts with Errol Spence in my next fight. After that, I'd like to take on Manny Pacquiao," Porter stated.

In the past, Porter already boasted about knowing how to KO Pacquiao. It will be remembered that Juan Manuel Marquez was the last fighter to score a clean KO over the legend and as per Porter, among the fighters who have been studying how to beat Pacquiao, it is only him who was able to learn Marquez’s “recipe.”

“You know, I just think I know what it takes to beat Manny. I think we saw a small glimpse to that when JuanMa (Marquez) knocked him out. I think I kind of have that recipe already, so I think I know what to do,” Porter boasted.

Timothy Bradley, a former foe of Pacquiao, recently commented about the next possible fights for the eight-division title holder. According to Bradley, he would keep Pacquiao away from Porter, Spence and Terrence Crawford.

“Personally, If I had Manny Pacquiao, I would keep him away from those guys. I would keep him away from a guy like Errol Spence. I would keep him away from a guy like Shawn Porter as well. I’d keep him away from Terence Crawford, all those top guys,” Bradley said.
