  • FKA Twigs claimed Shia LeBeouf knowingly infected her with a sexually transmitted disease
  • LaBeouf allegedly didn't inform her about his condition despite being intimate with her for months
  • LaBeouf also allegedly transmitted the disease to at least one other woman

Shia LaBeouf allegedly didn't inform his ex-girlfriend FKA Twigs that he had sexually transmitted disease (STD) and knowingly infected her.

Twigs, whose real name is Tahliah Barnett, sued the "Transformers" star for allegedly abusing her physically and emotionally when they were together. She also claimed that he knowingly infected her with STD by getting intimate with her despite knowing his condition and hiding the symptoms with makeup. Twigs confronted him after suffering "unusual and painful physical symptoms" in March 2019.

"LaBeouf admitted that he had never told Tahliah about his condition before, even though they had been sexually intimate for many months," the court papers obtained by The Sun read.

"Further, LaBeouf admitted that he had experienced a flareup of his disease’s symptoms in December 2019, but worked to hide his outward symptoms from Tahliah by applying makeup. Despite experiencing a flareup of his symptoms, LaBeouf continued to engage in sexual relations with Tahliah, further exposing her to his disease."

Twigs admitted that she was "shocked and horrified" by his admission. However, his lawyer "cruelly dismissed the sexually transmitted disease LaBeouf had infected Tahliah with as ‘not that bad.’" The "Cellophane" singer later learned that she wasn't the only woman that LaBeouf infected.

"Tahliah discovered that at least one other woman that LaBeouf had been in a relationship with had contracted the disease from him, and that he had engaged in similar attempts to hide his condition from that person while engaging in sexual relations," the court papers continued.

Twigs alleged that LaBeouf's "reckless disregard for the health and safety of his partners makes him a danger to women everywhere."

LaBeouf's ex-girlfriend Karolyn Pho also shared the same sentiment as Twigs. He allegedly abused her in February 2012 in a hotel in New York City. Twigs' lawyer, Bryan Freedman, said they tried to settle the matter with LeBeouf privately, but he wasn't cooperative.

"We tried to resolve this matter privately on the condition that Mr. LaBeouf agree to receive meaningful and consistent psychological treatment. Since he was unwilling to agree to get appropriate help, Ms. Barnett filed this suit to prevent others from unknowingly suffering similar abuse by him," Freedman said in a statement to BuzzFeed News.

Meanwhile, LaBeouf responded to the allegations his exes made in an email to The New York Times.

“I’m not in any position to tell anyone how my behavior made them feel,” he said. “I have no excuses for my alcoholism or aggression, only rationalizations. I have been abusive to myself and everyone around me for years. I have a history of hurting the people closest to me. I’m ashamed of that history and am sorry to those I hurt. There is nothing else I can really say.”
