Shia Labeouf Surprises Selena Gomez: 'You Used My Fans as Bait!' [Video]
Selena Gomez was in mild hysterics when actor Shia LaBeouf surprised her in his dressing room. Gomez was told she was going to greet fans, and when she walked into the room and saw the Transformers actor, she said oh my gosh and immediately bee-lined down the hall.
After taking some photos with LaBeouf, Gomez went into another room and said, kindly, to her entourage, You guys suck! You used my fans as bait.
The seasoned actress then told his publicist, Now he thinks I'm crazy. Tell him I'm sorry. His publicist responded, By the way, that's actually nice and refreshing. Trust me. I bet he liked it.
The video, which was posted to Gomez's Twitter account, stated: Best . . . Day . . . Ever. The video has had over 160,000 views, which may help LaBeouf who is receiving some bad press, but press none-the-less, due to comments he made in Details Magazine about hooking up with his former Transformers co-star, Megan Fox.
The actor openly admitted to Details that he had a relationship with Fox. The 25-year-old actor didn't stop there either. He continued to divulge information to the magazine stating, 'Look, you're on the set for six months, with someone who's rooting to be attracted to you, and you're rooting to be attracted to them.
I never understood the separation of work and life in that situation,' he adds. 'But the time I spent with Megan was our own thing, and I think you can see the chemistry on screen.
Fox is married to longtime boyfriend and 90210 actor Brian Austin Green, and when asked if the relationships overlapped, LaBeouf said, I don't know, man. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. ... It was what it was.
After opening up to Details about the relationship, LaBeouf told Access Hollywood, I just turned 25, and I'm learning how to edit myself and say 'no comment' now.
LaBeouf started his acting career by doing stand-up comedy in Los Angeles coffee shops. It didn't take long for the actor to find an agent and to begin auditioning. He is known for his character Louis Stevens in the Disney series Even Stevens (1999). Since, he has starred in films including Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd (2003), I,Robot (2004), Disturbia (2007), the Transformers trilogy (2007-2001), Eagle Eye (2008) and New York, I Love You (2009).
His latest film, Transformers: Dark of the Moon is scheduled for a June 29 release date. He also stars in The Wettest County in the World, currently in post-production and scheduled for a 2012 release date.
Selena Gomez who is currently on tour spoke about her latest music endeavors and tour on 'Good Morning America.' The young actress-turned-pop singer talked about working on a Britney song. She stated, I heard the song and I fell in love with it, I thought it was really fun and catchy, and I went into the studio and it said on the thing, 'co-written by Britney Spears,' and I almost had a heart attack.
Gomez also stated that she will be doing a Britney tribute during her summer tour.
The 'Who Says' singer will pay tribute to Britney with a medley of Brit's songs during the tour, including some off the 'Femme Fatale' album. Gomez told MTV.com that she is 'stocked' about the tribute. We're gonna do 'Baby One More Time,' and then I think we're going to try to incorporate 'Toxic' and that phase, and we might do some of her recent new stuff.
But Gomez blushed when asked if she is going to do any of Britney's dances and said, I don't think so, I'm not even going to touch Britney like that. I wouldn't butcher it. I'm just going to [do a] tribute to her because she's awesome.
Gomez is currently starring in Monte Carlo alongside Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester and Katie Cassidy.
