SHIB's Kusama Says Even They Are 'Floored' By Major Development Happening In May
KEY POINTS
- "Shib: The Metaverse" is in full swing of its land sale
- Kusama promises major development about "Shib : The Metaverse"
- The announcement will happen "this week or the week after"
Shytoshi Kusama, the pseudonymous lead developer of dog-themed altcoin Shiba Inu, confirmed that a major development will take place this month and teased the community by saying that the mere announcement of this initiative will "floor everyone."
The market crash did not spare Shiba Inu but it seems that the development team was not bothered by any of the market movements. The team, according to Kusama, is knee-deep working on various projects that would help Shiba Inu achieve sustainable growth.
The lead developer was also excited about the development happening to "Shib: The Metaverse" and has been very vocal about it. The land sale of the metaverse is in full swing and Kusama's latest comments have investors speculating with some believing that the lead developer is working with the team for "Shib: The Metaverse."
"What we are going to announce next week or [the] week after is going to floor EVERYONE,” Kusama said on Telegram. "Even I am floored," Kusama added. The lead developer teased about things were "about to get really interesting"
Kusama said that they will reveal the person chosen to lead the project, just like what they did when they introduced William Volk as one of the head honchos in the development of the Shiba Inu Games.
"Right now we are working out [the] details," and when pressed to give out some clues about the person, the lead developer declined to offer any more details, saying, "At this caliber, I can't even divulge anything. But I will say they are very impressed."
The Telegram exchange hinted that the developer, probably a AAA gaming studio, will collaborate with Shiba Inu for "Shib: The Metaverse" and the announcement of the person that will spearhead will happen this week or next week. But since details are scarce, all the Shiba Army can do at this point is speculate.
Kusama may have not yet revealed some details about this partnershib, but it may have something to do with their post earlier this month when they tweeted about being in the "best meeting in my entire time as Shytoshi."
Shiba Inu was trading down 6.53% at $0.00001585 with a 24-hour volume of $1,434,966,540 as of 2;39 a.m. ET on Wednesday, based on data from CoinMarketCap.
