Should You Pay $10,000 For Virgin America's 'First Class' Sneakers?
A new shoe debuted this week called the Virgin America First Class Shoe.
The sneakers are created by brand agency Eleven Inc. and feature a Wi-Fi hotspot, a built-in phone charging port, a video display, three-hour battery life and a seat belt buckle.
While these sneakers might not be sexy, they are being auctioned off for a good cause. The auction will benefit Soles4Souls, a non-profit organization that works to give shoes to impoverished communities.
According to Virgin America First Class Shoe Ebay listing, the shoes will be delivered in a custom “plexiglass display case with LED lighting.”
As of right now, the agency only created one pair, and the latest bid is at $10,100 on Ebay, with less than five days left.
