Sisters Jessica and Ashlee Simpson take their fashion sense into the tween market. The tween line will be part of Jessica Simpson's Jessica Simpson Collection, whose profits are set to break the $1 billion mark this year.

The target market of the new collection will be fashion forward tweens, sizes 7 to 16. The line is a combination of Jessica's girly style and Ashlee's edgy rocker attitude. The tween collection includes colored jeans (skinny and bootcut), shorts, knit tops, graphic tee-shirts, as well as leggings, shrunken knits and hoodies. The Tween line is the first collection the sisters have created together. My goal...will be to design clothes that will help inspire young girls to express their personalities and creativity through fashion, Ashlee tells WWD.
