‘Sister Wives’ Money Problems Rumors Resurface After New Issue
Fans have been wondering how the Brown family from “Sister Wives” is still able to afford their lives following their expensive move to Flagstaff, and now, a new issue appears to have surfaced which could be putting another dent in the family’s finances—and keeping them off of their Coyote Pass property even longer.
Christine Brown, who like her sister wife Meri, sells LulaRoe clothing, took to her Facebook page this week to discuss some of her personal issues with her followers, revealing in a video that one of her daughters needed to have an expensive surgery—which, after insurance, would have a bill of $50,000 that needed to be paid.
Kody’s third wife stated she couldn’t go into too many specific details when it came to which of her daughters needed the procedure, or what it was for, as she had signed a non-disclosure agreement with TLC as the family potentially shoots a new season. However, after assuring fans her youngest, Truely, was in good health, since her two eldest, Aspyn and Mykelti both live elsewhere and are married, it became clear that either Gwendlyn or Ysabel was affected. Since Ysabel was previously the focus on a prior season of the show and it was revealed that she may need surgery in the future to seal with her Scoliosis, it is believed that the time has come—and the family’s insurance is not covering the procedure in full.
If this is another financial obstacle the Brown family must overcome, it will likely be another thing that keeps them from building the homes they planned to on their Coyote Pass land—which they purchased upon moving to Flagstaff in 2018. However, since the move, they encountered several financial setbacks, including a delay in selling off their homes in Las Vegas, falling behind on property tax payments for the land, unexpected rental snafus and home purchases and even a home equity line of credit for Kody and Robyn.
This all came as Robyn also seemingly closed down her jewelry business, My Sister Wife’s Closet, as well.
“Sister Wives” has not been officially confirmed for a new season.
