'Sister Wives' Star Christine Brown Packs Kody's Things, Says Marriage Without Intimacy Isn't Okay

Christine Brown has packed up Kody Brown's stuff and said she's not okay with staying in a marriage without intimacy.

The reality TV star revealed in Sunday's episode of "Sister Wives" that she's not sure what the future holds for them as Kody no longer wants to have an intimate marriage with her.

"It's over," Christine said. "The intimate part of our marriage is over. And to be honest, I'm not okay with that. I'm not okay with staying in a marriage where there's no intimacy. That's not a real marriage. I'm not interested in a half marriage or a partial marriage or whatever we have."

Despite being broken by Kody's decision, Christine said it did not come as a shock for her since he already told her he wasn't attracted to her anymore. The Brown family patriarch also said he was no longer fond of Christine's behavior, challenging her to strive to be a "good sister wife."

In a separate confessional, Kody said Christine dropped a bomb on him, though he shared it did not surprise him as they have had serious troubles for the past 12 years.

"She said, 'I don't want you to stay in my room anymore.' She's like, 'My room is a special place to me and nothing special happens there for us.' I'm like, 'Okay. I know a lot of people have marriages that are like this — romance-free marriage.' She says, 'Not for me. So, I don't want you in my room. Go ahead and go on out. You can come to visit the kids, but don't plan on staying in my room,'" Kody recalled.

While he said he wasn't sure if this is just a phase in their marriage, Kody admitted that seeing boxes of his stuff lined up for him made him think Christine might not be playing a game.

"This is not something we discussed. I'm having a hard time not being a little frustrated by this," he disclosed.

Meanwhile, Christine revealed she has been uncertain about their future since she informed Kody he's no longer welcome into her bed.

"I don't want to stay in Flagstaff anymore and I want to go," she said.

Christine confirmed her split from Kody in November 2021. They were married for 25 years.
