‘Sister Wives’ Star Robyn Brown’s Due Date Arrives; Will The Home Birth Be Featured In Season 7 Of The TLC Series?
The Brown family just got a little bigger! According to reports, today is the day “Sister Wives” star Robyn Brown is set to give birth to the plural family’s 18th child – a little girl.
Robyn and her husband Kody, who both star on the hit TLC series along with Kody’s three other sister wives, Meri, Janelle and Christine, and the family’s 17 children, announced that they were expecting their second child together in June. (Kody adopted Robyn’s three children, Dayton, Aurora and Breanna, from her previous relationship in 2015 and welcomed a son with Robyn, Solomon, in 2011.)
“We are so happy to announce an eagerly expected new member of the Brown family!” the duo said in a statement to People magazine, announcing that the child would be due on Thursday, Jan. 7.
The gender of the baby was revealed during a Season 6 episode of “Sister Wives.” In the installment, Robyn had the family’s two youngest children, Solomon and Truely, unwrap gifts that would confirm if the Utah-based brood would be adding a little girl or boy to their lively gang.
“It’s a girl!” Christine’s daughter Truely shouted as she pulled out a pink doll from the box.
Robyn recently shared an update with fans, noting her excitement to meet the baby girl growing in her belly.
Meri responded to Robyn’s Twitter post, stating she was anxious for the littlest Brown to be born.
Fans of the long-running show can remember that Robyn’s last home birth (with Solomon) was filmed and aired during Season 2 of “Sister Wives” in 2011.
Could that mean its possible Season 7 of the reality show will also feature Robyn’s fifth delivery? Although TLC has yet to confirm a seventh season, Tamron Hall, the “Today” journalist who hosted the Season 6 “Tell All,” teased in a tweet following the finale that the upcoming installment would focus on Robyn and Kody’s new baby.
