Skrillex Sets Hair On Fire, Samuel L. Jackson Sings Taylor Swift: Best Viral Videos Of The Week
For online attention, nothing beats having a celebrity do something unexpected or dangerous. In just a few short days, two such videos have surfaced: Skrillex setting his hair on fire and Samuel L. Jackson singing Taylor Swift.
Skrillex, the dubstep wunderkind and one of the top electronic artists, celebrated his 25th birthday Tuesday. Born Sonny John Moore, Skrillex is already a three-time Grammy winner and has recently been nominated for three more Grammy awards. There are plenty of reasons Skrillex should be celebrating, but the video of his hair catching on fire is not one of them.
Skrillex was all set to blow out his birthday candles when his signature long locks caught fire. TMZ had the scoop on the video, which shows a few strands catching fire as he bends down to blow out his birthday candles. While there is some initial concern, the fire is quickly put out and everyone is laughing about it at the end.

Samuel L. Jackson is a man who definitely knows how to make an impression. From his diverse roles, everything from “Pulp Fiction” to “Shaft” to “Snakes on a Plane” to “The Avengers,” it’s clear that Jackson is a hard man to categorize. Jackson also seems like a person who enjoys a good laugh or a challenge, often putting reporters on the spot, the most recent example being Jackson trying to get a reporter to use the “n-word” in response to question about that word’s use in “Django Unchained.”
He's many things, but Jackson does not come across as a crooner. Still, he definitely put his heart into singing Taylor Swift’s “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.” Jackson was being interviewed by a London radio station, 95.8 Capital FM, when he decided to sing Swift’s breakup song. He refuses to simply sing the song, interjecting profanity where he sees fit, adding even more hilarity to the proceedings. You can view Jackson’s rendition of “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” below.
