‘Sleepy Hollow’ Season 4 Spoilers: A Viral Video Releases An Infection In Episode 8 ‘Sick Burn’ [VIDEO]
Last week on Fox’s “Sleepy Hollow,” Diana’s (Janina Gavankar) daughter Molly (Oona Yaffe) unwittingly summoned a vicious demon that took the form of her father. The witness drew symbols on her sketch book that awoke an ancient monster that preyed on people’s hearts. Thankfully, the supernatural-fighting team was able to kill the demon before it claimed more lives.
Unfortunately, Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison), Diana and Jenny (Lyndie Greenwood) learned that tech billionaire Malcolm Dreyfuss (Jeremy Davies) isn’t dead. He is determined to destroy the world.
What will happen this week in “Sleepy Hollow”?
The Fox series doesn’t usually deal with infections or viral diseases, but in Season 4, episode 8, Crane and Diana are going to find themselves in a supernatural medical emergency. According to the official synopsis, internet sensation Logan Macdonald (Robbie Kay) visits Washington, D.C. When he arrives in the city, a supernatural infection is released through a viral video.
That’s right: Anyone who watches this video gets infected by a supernatural virus. Yikes.
The promo of the upcoming episode, titled “Sick Burn,” shows Crane warning people that their mobile phones could be weapons and that they must switch it off now. Of course that won’t work in the 21st century, Crane!
Shockingly, Alex (Rachel Melvin) has contracted the virus. She watched the video and the preview seems to suggest that even Molly watched it too.
Speaking of Molly, the 11-year-old witness will have a frightening vision that predicts a bleak future. This vision could be related to Dreyfuss.
It will be interesting to watch this episode. The last time “Sleepy Hollow” dealt with a supernatural infection was in Season 1, episode 5 when a young boy was dying from a medieval plague. He belonged to Roanoke and returned to present day Sleepy Hollow with the disease.
“Sleepy Hollow” Season 4 airs Fridays at 9 p.m. EST on Fox.
