The last few weeks have been a rollercoaster for Kofi Kingston. After being named as the replacement for an injured Mustafa Ali, he has been the biggest standout on WWE’s blue brand. He will look to continue that momentum on Tuesday night’s “SmackDown Live” that comes to fans from Charlotte, North Carolina.

The centerpiece of the Feb. 26 show will be the meeting between Daniel Bryan and Kofi Kingston. At the end of last week’s show, Shane McMahon named Kingston the No. 1 contender to Bryan’s WWE Championship. Tonight, will see it made official with the Fastlane contract signing between the two. And if you’re familiar with wrestling contract signings, something is bound to happen before it’s all said and done.

There are also the questions surrounding The Miz and Shane McMahon. The unlikely duo has proven to be an effective tag team, despite losing the SmackDown Tag Titles to The Usos at Elimination Chamber. However, the loss started to show some possible cracks between the two which need to be addressed before their rematch with Jimmy and Jey at Fastlane.

Other question marks surround the SmackDown Women’s Champion Asuka and U.S. Champion R-Truth. Knowing Asuka, after losing to Mandy Rose last week, you can expect her to be looking for some payback. As for R-Truth, he has been a no-show since winning the U.S. Title and being attacked by Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura immediately after. Will he be back to defend his title tonight?

Throw in all the NXT call-ups running around, and “SmackDown Live” looks to be quite eventful this evening.
