Michael Rosenbaum shared on social media on Thursday that he’s currently in the hospital with a neck injury.
Despite needing surgery for it, the “Smallville” alum’s telling fans not to worry about anything, and that it’s just a small operation.
“At surgery center with an amazing team,” he wrote on Instagram. “Feeling good. Don’t worry. I’m fine. Love you all. #allstate #minor neck surgery. Let’s do this.”
Along with the caption, the 46-year-old actor shared a video from his hospital bed, giving fans an update on how he’s doing and what kind of surgery he needs to have.
“Don’t freak out, don’t freak out — this is my nurse right here — don’t get all freaked out,” he says. “It’s not a big deal. This is a — I’m having a little neck surgery, but these guys are the best…I’m in good hands.”
He continued: “Anyway, they just go through the neck here, and then they just — it’s just a disk replacement. I’m a tough guy, don’t worry about me. If I die, it’s okay, I had a great life. I love you guys, but, it’s honestly, this is not a big deal. It’s gonna be great.”
With the actor being active on social media and already giving fans this first update, it’s likely he’ll share more information once the surgery is complete.
