Is SNL on tonight
"SNL" will not be new on Saturday, but a rerun with Seth Meyers hosting will air. Will Heath/NBC

“Saturday Night Live” is not new tonight. The NBC hit is taking a break for the holidays, but there are still plenty of viewing options, especially for those who want to watch something Christmas-themed. “SNL” fans can check out any of these programs on Dec. 22:

“Saturday Night Live” (11:30 p.m. EST, NBC) Seth Meyers hosts while Paul Simon performs in this rerun of “SNL” Season 44, episode 3.

“The Night Before” (12 a.m. EST, FXX) Seth Rogen, a three-time “SNL” host, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, a two-time “SNL” host, play best friends along with “Avengers: Infinity War” actor Anthony Mackie. The three are looking for the ultimate Christmas party.

“Little Nicky” (12 a.m. EST, MTV) “Saturday Night Live” alum Adam Sandler stars as the devil’s son in this comedy, and he has to bring his two runaway brothers home to hell. Rodney Dangerfield, Reese Witherspoon and Patricia Arquette also star.

“A Bad Moms Christmas” (12 a.m. EST, Showtime Showcase) Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell and Kathryn Hahn play overworked moms who have even more to deal with when their own mothers show up. Susan Sarandon and Christine Baranski play mothers to Hahn and Kunis, respectively, and they’ve both appeared on “SNL.”

“Wedding Crashers” (12:30 a.m. EST, VH1) Two-time “SNL” host Vince Vaughn stars alongside Owen Wilson in this 2005 comedy as two men who crash weddings to meet women.

“Dirty Grandpa” (12:35 a.m. EST, Comedy Central) Before Robert De Niro was impersonating Robert Mueller on “SNL,” he played a mischievous grandpa. Dick convinces his soon-to-be-married grandson (Zac Efron) to drive him to Florida for a wild spring break to show him how to get the most out of life.

“Saturday Night Live” will return with new episodes in 2019.
