Sofia Richie Not Upset About Scott Disick Split, Has 'Nice Distraction,' Source Says

Sofia Richie is not upset about her split from Scott Disick and she is actually on the stage of moving on, according to a source.

Richie and Disick dated for nearly three years but decided to split for good. Following the separation, Richie's family and friends have been pouring her with love.

"Her friends and family have been surrounding her with so much love and support, especially for her birthday, so that’s been a nice distraction for her," a source told Us Weekly.

Disick and Richie decided to part ways in May. However,as per a source, they tried hard to make their relationship work and were in an on-again, off-again relationship for two months.

After their breakup, Richie became "more independent" from Disick. They were still in contact and had been seeing multiple times but were not as inseparable as before.

Richie was supportive of Disick, who was going through some personal issues. Also, she understood that he wanted to focus on himself and his family. Hence, the breakup somehow helped them.

"Scott has been much more calm and responsive to people outside of his family over the last month or so. Whatever issues that were bubbling up between Sofia and Scott at the start of the pandemic have simmered down and Scott has returned to a place where Sofia feels comfortable being around him and being in his life again," another source said.

However, earlier this month Disick decided to call it quits for good. After that, the exes were allegedly not on speaking terms.

"Sofia really pushed to make things work between them after they initially broke up, but Scott officially called it off recently and they are no longer speaking," a different insider shared.

Before the report about their permanent split, Disick was spotted vacationing with his ex-partner Kourtney Kardashian in Idaho with some of their friends.

"Things haven't been great between them. Scott's been spending every day with Kourtney and the kids and has been vacationing with her. Things are always tense between Scott and Sofia when he goes away without her," a source told E! News.
