Sofia Vergara Shares First Picture With Joe Manganiello In Weeks After Actor’s Hospitalization

Sofia Vergara has shared a picture of husband Joe Manganiello — the first in several weeks — after the actor’s absence from the Hollywood limelight due to his hospitalization.

The “Modern Family” actress took to Instagram Saturday to share a sweet picture with her husband. The photo marks the first time the actor has been seen following his hospitalization in April. Vergara is photographed with her arms around the actor’s neck.

Manganiello also reportedly appeared to be in a healthy condition as he wore a big smile while wife Vergara hugged him. The actress captioned the image, “Afternoon tea.” She also added two emojis of a dancing image, as well as two hearts.

Apart from this photograph, Vergara also shared an Instagram picture of the lavish spread prepared for the Hollywood couple’s afternoon tea moment. The actress and Manganiello reportedly enjoyed mini-sandwiches with cucumber, deviled eggs and salmon. A delicious-looking chocolate cake was also featured on the afternoon tea table, as well as a bottle of wine and orange-citrus water.

Vergara has also displayed some of her impressive and elegant-looking plates. The actress’ silverware pieces were wrapped in yellow table napkins that were secured with handmade butterfly napkin holders. Vergara captioned the photo, “Afternoon tea at [home] ... using my new #jesusmantilla handmade butterflies napkin holders #talentocosteno.”

Meanwhile, avid fans of Manganiello may recall that the actor was hospitalized in April due to an acute case of appendicitis. Sources told TMZ that the actor’s doctors were alarmed when they began the surgery. Another source revealed to TMZ that Manganiello’s appendix has burst. However, no details were shared following the Hollywood star’s hospitalization.

Fans are now happy to see the actor back to his healthy self. Vergara and Manganiello tied the knot in a romantic wedding in November 2015.
