Sofia Vergara SNL: 'America welcomed me with pulled down pants,' The Sizzling Beauty's Best Looks (Photos)

Sofia Vergara never fails to make her audience laugh out aloud with her amazing sense of humor, apart from the fact that she leaves their heads spinning with her steamy hot looks and beautiful infectious smile.

As always, the 38-year-old Modern Family actress created a sensation when she hosted the Saturday Night Live show, intelligently and playfully joking about the sensitive topic of immigration in her opening monologue and how she is seen as a Latina Sex Symbol.

I always heard that immigrants had a really hard life when they came to America, said Vergara at SNL. But when I showed up here, everyone was so nice! The men bought me drinks and offered me a place to sleep. This country welcomed me with open arms and pulled down pants.

The bombshell also spoke about her hometown, Barranquilla, a port city on Colombia's Caribbean coast.

This is such a huge moment for me in my life. I never dreamed that I would be here in New York City. I came here all the way from a small, Colombian town called Barranquilla, she said during her opening monologue. Barranquilla is a Spanish word that means 'Cleveland.'

Towards the end of the monologue, the Emmy Award-winning actress spoke about her famous thick Colombian accent and said You might have noticed that I have a bit of an accent sometimes. I love it! This accent can make anything sound sexy, Vergara said, before pronouncing unsexy words like gonorrhea, Rick Santorum and New Jersey.

Vergara's son Manolo was also present among the audience while she played a Pantene spokeswoman in Sketches, impersonated Fran Drescher and also parodied the Hunger Games.

During the show, Vergara also gave a shout out to her son, and yes, she loves doing that.
