Solange Knowles Who? Jay Z Accused Of Pushing, Screaming At Beyoncé During Fight At 2013 Super Bowl

In response to the release of surveillance video showing Jay Z’s elevator brawl with Beyoncé’s sister, Solange Knowles, Monday, one outlet is reporting that the A-list couple had an explosive argument at the 2013 Super Bowl in New Orleans.

“When we heard that Solange attacked Jay Z in the elevator at the Met Ball last week, we were not at all surprised,” reads a report from Blind Gossip, confirming their formerly “blind” item, "Fight in the Green Room." According to the report, Beyoncé, 32, and her husband of five years, Jay Z, 44, allegedly had a screaming match in front of their now 2-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, at the sporting event prior to Beyonce’s infamous halftime performance on Feb. 3, 2013.

According to Blind Gossip, Jay Z was “pacing” inside the event’s green room while Beyoncé quietly texted on her cell phone next to her Super Bowl co-performers and former Destiny’s Child group members, Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland. Allegedly, Jay Z was spotted “barking instructions” at Beyoncé before lashing out and grabbing her cell phone out of her hands because she “wasn’t paying attention.”

“He discovered that she was texting another man. He started going through all of her texts. His voice started out low and he was swearing: 'You mother f---ing b---h!' As he scrolled through the texts, his voice got louder and louder until he was screaming at her. 'YOU MOTHER F---ING B---H!!! YOU MOTHER F---ING B---H!!!'" reads the report.

Despite Beyoncé’s seemingly composed demeanor during her husband’s elevator scuffle with her sister, Solange, 27, the site is claiming that the “Single Ladies” performer was not fearful in standing up to her better half. “She jumped up and got in his face," claims the site. Allegedly, Jay Z continued the argument after the singer “starting yelling at and swearing right back” while trying to obtain her phone, a response which “frozen” onlookers claim resulted in Jay Z allegedly pushing the singer and reportedly calling her "every derogatory name for a woman in the book.”

TMZ was the first to obtain footage of Solange Knowles’ battle with Jay Z at the Standard Hotel in New York on May 5 following their appearance at the 2014 Met Gala. The black-and-white video, which doesn’t include audio, shows Solange appearing to physically attack the “Empire State of Mind“ rapper while a bodyguard attempts to break up their fight.

The couple have yet to address the altercation, only appearing together and smiling at the Brooklyn Nets game at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center Monday night, Us Weekly is reporting. The duo are due to kick off their “On the Run” tour in Miami, Florida, on June 25.
