‘Sons Of Anarchy’ Season 7 Spoilers: Episode 12 Synopsis Released; What Will Happen In ‘Red Rose’?
Better buckle up, “Sons of Anarchy” fans, because the final two episodes of the hit FX series are going to be one wild ride. According to the synopsis for episode 12, “Red Rose,” fans can expect Jax (Charlie Hunnam) to make an “ultimate decision” as tensions rise and truths are revealed when the series returns in December.
Could Jax’s decision have something to do with Gemma’s (Katey Sagal) punishment for killing his wife (Maggie Siff)? Our gut feeling is telling us yes. The only question now is: What kind of price is Gemma going to pay? Our theories have ranged from Jax killing Gemma, to her son ostracizing her from the family -- but it looks as though viewers will have to wait until “Red Rose” airs to see how Jax will respond to his mother’s brutal betrayal.
Executive Producer of “SoA” Kurt Sutter, who also happened to be credited for writing “Red Rose” along with Charles Murray, usually has an underlying message behind his episode titles. With that in mind, we tried to find some sort of correlation between red roses and “SoA.” What we discovered was a blast from the past.
Before Siff’s character was killed off, the actress was given credit in the opening sequence as a reoccurring character. During the credits, a woman who was sporting a back tattoo of a red, thorny rose, appeared. The ink then quickly transformed into Siff’s name. Does that mean episode 12 will focus around Tara and her not-so-mysterious disappearance from the world?
Although Tara is dead, her presence has been felt throughout the entire chaotic Season 7. So perhaps episode 12 will be an installment for Jax to finally gain closure. Maybe we’ll even get to see an intimate scene of Jax visiting Tara’s grave with -- dare we say -- a red rose to placed by the tombstone.
