Kathryn Dennis' ex Thomas Ravenel has confirmed she temporarily moved in with him earlier this year. Dennis stayed in Ravenel’s guest room and it was filmed for the reality show "Southern Charm."
Dennis had to move to Ravenel's house earlier this year because she needed a place to stay while her home was being painted. Ravenel welcomed her to his house because he understood that it wasn't safe for Dennis and their kids to stay at her home at the time. Dennis stayed in his guest room and it was captured by the Bravo cameras.
"I just let them film a little segment with the kids as a favor to Kathryn," Ravenel told Us Weekly before adding that he didn't think the network would air the footage.
"I wasn’t paid. At the time, she was staying at my house in the guest room because her house was being painted and was unsafe for her and the kids."
Ravenel and Dennis share two children, daughter Kensie, 6, and son Saint, 4. The exes had a lengthy custody battle and she was granted joint custody in August 2019. According to Dennis, they have no trouble co-parenting their children.
"We actually have a great co-parenting relationship. It’s good for him, it’s good for me," Dennis told Us Weekly late last year.
"We’re moving forward, which is the first time I’ve said that in a long time and it feels good.”
In January, there were rumors that Dennis and Ravenel were back together after she posted a photo alongside her ex-boyfriend at a James Bond-themed party.
“Thomas and Kathryn have been spending a lot of time together. They’re on really good terms. It started with co-parenting, but it quickly grew into something more,” a source told People at the time.
“She feels comfortable with him again, and they’ve both kind of tossed aside any other relationships they had for each other. There’s that spark, and they’re letting themselves explore it right now.”
In February, Bravo Bible's Instagram account shared their photo and claimed that they were back together. Dennis immediately denied the rumors by commenting, "Not true."
Meanwhile, Ravenel welcomed his third child with Heather Mascoe in June. They named the baby Jonathan Jackson Ravenel. The "Southern Charm" alum also teased in a deleted tweet that he was planning to marry Mascoe and when asked about a prenuptial agreement, he said it wasn't necessary, Us Weekly reported.
