‘Southern Charm’ Star Thomas Ravenel Dating Landon Clements? Ex Kathryn Dennis Weighs In On Their Romance
There’s no shortage of drama on “Southern Charm” Season 4, but perhaps the most pressing issue facing the cast stems from what may or may not be brewing between Thomas Ravenel and Landon Clements.
While it remains to be seen whether Thomas and Landon will end up together, much of the cast — including Kathryn Dennis, the mother of Thomas’ two children — seems pretty confident about their relationship. Chatting with ET Online, Kathryn said there’s definitely something going on between her ex and Landon. She went on to say that, in her eyes, Thomas and Landon are relatively similar.
“I think they’re pretty equal,” she told ET. “So, maybe they found their equals. That’s fine…let ‘em eat cake.”
Kathryn wasn’t the only member of the cast to essentially confirm the relationship between Thomas and Landon. “Southern Charm” stars Craig Conover and girlfriend Naomie Olindo were shocked when the relationship came together, promising that viewers would get to see it happen from start to finish. Naomie added that once it finally happens, “Southern Charm” fans will have a better understanding of drama from previous seasons.

“Some things come out that maybe explain past behaviors,” she said. “It’s pretty interesting.”
Thomas hasn’t addressed rumors about his new relationship, but has spoken out about his ex. In a recent interview with People magazine, the former politician revealed that if it weren’t for his children, Kensington, 3, and Saint, 1, he may have tried to make things work with Kathryn. He admitted, however, that their relationship was full of negativity.
“Conflict is something I’ve tried to shield the children from,” he said. “That’s one of the reasons it was best that Kathryn and I go our separate ways because that conflict, all the constant disagreements and arguments, was creating a negative energy that was unhealthy for the children. It was a children-first decision.”
While Thomas busies himself with life as a single parent, Kathryn remains intensely focused on staying sober and bettering herself. In her own interview with People released on April 4, she discussed her portrayal on “Southern Charm” and how it’s affected her. Kathryn, 25, said she wasn’t fazed by the drama, though she did struggle to watch herself feud with Thomas over custody of their kids.”
“When I see things, of course I feel that natural, knee-jerk anger,” she said. “But afterward I think to myself, ‘These people are so —‘ I don’t want to use the word shallow, but they’re like potatoes and I’m the meat. I’m real and straightforward, and I’d rather live like that any day than be somebody that’s spending their time judging others. I don’t care about their lives and their personal choices.”
In that same interview, Kathryn touched on suspicions she had that Thomas, 54, and Landon were an item. She told the publication that it wasn’t easy to watch, but she felt “vindicated” knowing that she was right about them all along. Kathryn added that she wasn’t happy to hear that Landon had been spreading rumors about her hunting for a rich husband given her moves on Thomas.
“But I guess they’re owning it now that Landon sees a sliver of a chance to be with him now that I’m out of the picture. It’s kind of like, ‘Hmmmm, who’s trying to land a rich husband now?’” she said.
