  • Olindo admitted she reached out to Conover when she broke up with Metul Shah because she was seeking comfort from someone she trusted

Naomie Olindo and Craig Conover's hookup was among the topics highlighted in the recent episode of "Southern Charm" Season 8.

The episode featured Austen Kroll, Kathryn Dennis, Shep Rose and his girlfriend Taylor Anne Green, and Conover and his girlfriend Paige DeSorbo talking about Craig's hookup with Olindo.

Rose told Green that Conover admitted to sleeping with Olindo in Las Vegas. However, Dennis "implied that it wasn't just Vegas — it's been kind of a low-key, ongoing thing," People reported.

DeSorbo also discussed the same matter with her boyfriend. However, she assured him that she was comfortable with the topic, and she preferred that Conover and Olindo remain friends following their split because "I'd actually find it more of a red flag if you two didn't get along."

Meanwhile, Kroll just found out about Conover and Olindo's hookup at Dennis' birthday party, and he was shocked. He told Leva Bonaparte about it on the phone, and the latter said she was actually aware that they slept together.

For Bonaparte, Olindo and Conover had "way more feelings than those two are admitting to."

Conover and Olindo reunited for her "fresh start party," and the lawyer was a little bit emotional pulling up to her parents. The pair fought about chewing ice and agreed later that it was a "big turn-off for some people."

In a confessional, Conover admitted that he picked up on a vibe that his ex-girlfriend still had lingering feelings for him that she had never dealt with. However, he felt that when she broke up with Metul Shah, and they hooked up in Vegas, her feelings were "knocked off the shelf."

Kroll spoke with Olindo about her hookup with Conover, and she told him that they only slept together twice. However, Kroll said something that left her hurt.

"He was like, 'One time. Never again,'" Austen claimed. "The way that he described what had gone on was like, 'I was right. And she came calling and we hung out and yeah, we slept together.'"

A flashback at Dennis' party played where Conover spoke with Kroll and Rose about what happened with Olindo, saying it was a "closure."

"I woke up and I was like, I'm done. I was like, I'm not into this anymore," Conover said.

Olindo didn't expect what she heard from Kroll. "I literally don't believe that he would describe me in that way," she told him.

When Conover walked in, Olindo brought up the topic in a one-on-one conversation. Conover denied it, saying, "Those words would never come out of my mouth."

"What hurt me so much is you insinuated that I was your ex for a reason because it just like wasn't fun and whatever," Olindo told Conover about how she felt about the way Kroll characterized their reconnection.

Conover assured her that they had an "amazing experience," and he had no regrets about it.

"I love you to death and you know that. You know I'll always feel that way about you. I wish you would've gotten to know me, like who I am today. You would've liked the guy," Conover told Olindo.

Olindo admitted in a confessional that following her split from Shah, she sought a familiar face and found Conover.

"When Metul and I broke up, I was so heartbroken, and I think in reaching out to Craig I was seeking comfort in somebody that I trust, in somebody that I knew understood me," she said. "But it was just kind of a fleeting thing."

"Southern Charm" airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
