Worried that he won’t get into college, Ray (Mason Cook) joins Lafayette High School choir in tomorrow’s episode of “Speechless.” Apparently, he isn’t the only DiMeo who is interested in making some music during the holiday season.

In a sneak peek from Season 1, episode 10, titled “C-H-O-CHOIR,” Ray is surprised to see a lot of new guys in the choir room. “What’s going on here? Did every guy in the school join the choir?” the middle DiMeo child asks a fellow choir member. “Yeah man, the teacher is so hot,” replies Ray’s co-choir member.

When he realized that his fellow choir member was talking about the new young teacher, Ms. Bloom (Julianne Hough), Ray can’t believe how absurd his male schoolmates are.

“This is ridiculous! What kind of perverts would join choir just to ogle over some woman?” Ray exclaims just before his brother, JJ (Micah Fowler), and his aide Kenneth (Cedric Yarbrough) enter the room to join the choir, too. Click here to see the sneak peek.

Ray is apparently dismayed after seeing JJ join the choir, but he’s probably going to feel more disappointed when Miss Bloom decides to give his solo to JJ later in the episode.

While the solo ultimately goes to JJ, Cook revealed on Twitter that fans are still going to see his character sing in the episode.

Elsewhere in the episode, according the synopsis for the installment, Maya (Minnie Driver) surprises everyone by embracing a newfound holiday spirit. Her view, however, is put to the test when the family van is stolen, along with all their holiday gifts.

In another sneak peek from the episode, Maya breaks the unfortunate news to her husband, Jimmy (John Ross Bowie). While the burglary definitely saddens him, he, on the other hand, is touched when he finds out that Maya got him a “fancy heated toilet seat” for Christmas.

“Speechless” Season 1, episode 10 airs on Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 8:30 p.m. EST on ABC.
